Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs) BiciLine Cycling Ecotourism Social Enterprise
(BiciLine) established in 2008 with the seeding grant provided by the Enhancing
Self-Reliance through District Partnership Program under the Home Affairs
Department. Initiated by TWGHs Jockey Club Tin Shui Wai Integrated Services
Centre and co-organized by Hong Kong Baptist University, BiciLine is a green
social enterprise focusing on guided cycling eco-tours.
BiciLine aims to recruit and train youngsters from Yuen Long district (including Tin Shui Wai) to become qualified eco-tour guides, touring its clients around the ecological features and main historical relics in the western New Territories.
After the two-year sponsorship period, BiciLine became self-financing on August 13, 2010 - a green enterprise providing diversifiable guided eco-tours and related services.
